Souvenirs of a Jazz Age Camberley

IMG_2844

Collecting little items with a town’s arms on was a very popular 20th century passion.  For some reason, in Camberley’s case, it was the RMA and not the town, for whom the souvenirs were created.

Originally, I was more interested in those I found for Frimley (how many tourists did the village have?) but then I discovered that the RMA versions were astonishingly varied and topical.  Did the cadets really spend all their time playing the banjo while wearing boaters and using a soda syphon?
