In case you haven’t heard about these lectures before – thanks to Councillor Tim Dodds whose blog entry I am reblogging.
We should be delighted that we have three museums in Surrey Heath. We have the Surrey Heath Museum in the Council Offices in Knoll Road, Camberley, the Army Medical Services Museum at Keogh Barracks in Mytchett, and The Royal Logistic Corps Museum at Deepcut.
Me, I love all these Museums. Both Surrey Heath Museum and the RLC Museum have lecture series. Surrey Heath’s are mostly daytime lectures through their support of the Heritage Gallery in the Camberley Mall.
My personal favourite is the RLC Museum evening lecture series, where they often have noted speakers, such as when Professor Gary Sheffield has the audience enrapt uncovering Winston’s Best Kept Secret.
All of the RLC Museum lectures are on Thursday evenings, beginning at 7:30pm. Doors are at 7:00pm and reserved tickets can be collected from then. Tickets are £2.50 for Friends of the Museum and £5.00 for the general public. The Museum recommends…
