  1. The front of the church was covered with plaster around 1960.
    The building to the left of the church was the caretaker’s house. this was pulled down and the site was used as a car park by the church.It was around 1972 tht a flat roofed building was put on the site, although the church had plans drawn up as early as 1910. the church was called Yorktown Baptist, becasue the area was named after the Duke of York. when Camberley was formed from Yroktown and Cambridge Town, the church accepted the name Camberley Baptist Church.
    When the church was founded the deeds refer to it being in Blackwater in the County of Southampton, it then becasme Yorktown Baptist Church, and afterwards Camberley Baptist Church.
